3rd Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav connects with youth
ITANAGAR, Nov 21: Director General of Police, Arunachal Pradesh, SBK Singh, was awarded for “Best Category for imparting training in the field of Police Communication to Police Officials” by the Directorate of Coordination of Police Wireless, Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday in the national capital.
The award was given by Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Santosh Gangwar on the occasion of All India Heads of Police Communication Conference – 2018, New Delhi. Superintendent of Police (Telecom), Shankar Chaudhury accepted the award on behalf of the DGP.
The award recognizes the efforts of Arunachal Pradesh Police under the leadership of the present DGP, SBK Singh to establish Police Training College, Banderdewa as the best state training institute among North-Eastern states. Pursuant to this vision, a dedicated Signal Training Centre has been set up at PTC Banderdewa to impart training in Wireless Communication to Police Officials. The department has started focusing relentlessly on improving training of personnel, both quantitatively and qualitatively, to improve the skills and attitude of personnel and make Arunachal Pradesh Police a professional and an effective Police Force.
