ITANAGAR, Jun 19: Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee along with Arunachal Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee (APMCC) and their associated organisations on Friday distributed Covid-19 relief consisting of food items, foot sanitizer machines and hand sanitizers at various locations in Capital Complex.
Before commencing the distribution, the rank & file of State Congress gathered here at the Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan and observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the martyred soldiers who sacrificed their lives protecting the country from Chinese aggression in Eastern Ladakh. After that, a team led by Vice-President APCC Techi Tagi Tara, General Secretary APCC Tamchi Tahar along with PCC office bearers, social media department, President APMCC Nabam Yakum, I/c President APYC Kipa Rokio, Convenor APRGPRS Jaya Joram and party workers visited Deepak Nabam Rehabilitation Centre at Senki Park and distributed food items & one foot sanitizer machine. This was followed by a visit to the Donyi-Polo Hearing Impaired School, Chimpu where food items and one foot sanitizer machine were distributed. Lastly, the team visited the Second Coming Prayer Centre at Six Kilo and distributed food items & hand sanitizers. The second team led by Vice-President APCC Rajen Nani and General Secretary APCC Chera Taya along with office bearers of the associated organisations visited the Mother Teresa Old Age Home at A-Sector, Naharlagun and distributed food items & one foot sanitizer machine. The team later visited the Mother’s Home at Lekhi Village and distributed foot items and hand sanitizers and to the Hara-Happa Prayer Centre, Hoj where food items and one foot sanitizer machine were distributed.
