ITANAGAR, Jan 10: Day 2 of the Khelo India Youth Games today brought good news for the state as it bagged three silvers, two bronze medals in different categories.
Markio Tario and Charu Pesi won silvers in the under-17 boys 67kg and 61kg weightlifting category. Techi Nadam bagged a bronze in the under-21 girls 45kg weightlifting category.
In Judo event, Kabi Doyom won silver and Khomdan Wanghop clinched the bronze in the Under-17 girls 48kg and boys 50kg category.
Shuttler Laa Takum also cleared the first round of badminton in the U-17 boys category by beating Maharashtra in straight sets 21-19 & 22-20 today.
