ITANAGAR, Nov 25: Arunachal Pradesh bagged three awards at Technology Sabha Awards 2018 being held at Guwahati, Assam. The Awards were being conferred for the Mobile App Arunachal Suraksha of Arunachal Pradesh Police, project eGPF (e - General Provident Fund) of Department of Accounts & Treasuries and Solid Waste Management System of Itanagar Municipal Council.
The Award for Arunachal Suraksha was received by Devender (STA-B, NIC), Sanjiv K Das (Scientist-B, NIC) and Jyotish Roy (Addl SIO, NIC) on behalf of Arunachal Pradesh Police. The Award for eGPF was received by SK Dagra(JD, Accounts & Treasuries), Debasish Nath (Technical Director, NIC) and Bimal Borah( Scientist-B, NIC).
Whereas the Award for Solid Waste Management System was received by Pinge Doji(SeMT, GoAP) and Pinak Nath (System Integrator) on behalf of Itanagar Municipal Council.
The eGPF system provides online all the GPF Account related information at any moment for employees of GoAP.
While the Arunachal Suraksha Mobile App is a citizen centric service from Arunachal Pradesh Police where any citizen or tourist can get instant help from nearest police station on a single touch in situation of any distress.
Whereas the Solid Waste Management System of Itanagar Municipal Council provides an online monitoring system by geo-tracking the Garbage collection trucks in the Capital Complex.
The Tech Sabha organized by Business Computer Express Group of India in collaboration with Govt of Assam, GoI and other corporate partners aimed at adoption of new cutting edge technology to meet the need of Government in collaboration with corporate Sector in all the North Eastern States. The awards were to recognize the outstanding eGovernance initiatives in the North Eastern States.
