GUWAHATI, May 3:The Vibrant North East 2018, with the collective participants including Development Expo 2018, Agri and Rural expo, industrial expo and North East Development meet is a showcase platform to exhibit the opportunities to rest of the country for availing, participating and partnering in the growth and development of the region. The three day event is aimed at bringing together a large number of stakeholders from government and non government institutions, entrepreneurs, farmers and other development oriented sectors to incorporate various programs and schemes, products, technologies and services and deliberate upon the issues and opportunities and the way forward. The event, comprised of technical conferences, investment and business meets, entrepreneur’s seminars, farmer’s workshops and large exhibition would serve as a significant step towards addressing several important objectives.

                Under the orchestration of Centre for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD) the VNE 2018 set forth by the arrival of Chief Guest Sh. PL Thanga, Member secretary, State Planning Board Mizoram. The Chief Guest inaugurated the exhibition stalls interacting with the representatives of the respective states, PSUs, Private players and other stakeholders. Few of the prominent participants are National Biodiversity Authority, Ministry of Women and Child Development, National Cooperative Development Corporation, State Bank Of India, MSTC limited, NAFED, Manipur Organic Mission Agency, Department of Agriculture Meghalaya, IASST, ISRO, National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Indian council of Medical Research along with many other governmental and non governmental establishments.

               Department of Agriculture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh is taking part in the mega event, with the theme “Organic Arunachal; Vibrant Arunachal” led by Okit Palling, CEO AP Agriculture Marketing Board, with host of progressive farmers.
