PASIGHAT, Mar 25: Under its civic action programme, the Sigar Military Station located near Sigar village under Mebo sub-division on Saturday distributed study materials like microscopes, globes, books, encyclopaedia and other stationery items to the students from Borguli and Namsing schools.
Brigadier AK Borah, VSM, Commander Sigar Military station gave away the study materials to an obviously elated gathering of children.
Children were even motivated for joining the armed forces and serve their country. Gathering was also informed about the training capsule which the Station will run for the upcoming recruitment rally at Jairampur.
