Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach

PASIGHAT, Mar 1: With an initiative to bridge the gap between army and local villagers, the Commander of 56 Artillery Brigade in Sigar military station, Brigadier AK Borah, VSM interacted with Gaon Burahs of four villages of Motum, Sigar, Ralling and Mebo under Mebo Sub-Division of East Siang district.
A total of eight Gaon Burahs attended the interactive session with Brigadier Borah and also discussed the key issues of recruitment of village youths in Indian army as uniformed soldiers and porters.
