Deomali, Mar 3: The Indian Army Camp located here organised a programme under Project Sadbhavana for distribution of sports kits & equipment to the young sports enthusiasts of the remote villages, schools and colleges of Deomali and Soha Circles of Tirap district.
Primary intention of the programme was to promote games and sports amongst the local population. Army officials went to the villages and distributed the equipment to the GBs/Rajas of both the Circles which was appreciated by the local people.
ADC Deomali Penga Tato conveyed his appreciation to Indian Army for the initiative, which he said will help developing the budding sportspersons of the district. DIPRO
