Deomali, May 10: Indian Army’s Dao Division conducted a primary health check-up & aid camp for the remote residents of Soha village in Tirap district on May 8 last.
The event was conducted for screening and distribution of medicines to these villagers who have little or no access to medical facilities. The team comprising Indian Army doctors and staff provided the essential medical care, treatment and medicines to the locals. The event received an overwhelming response and a total of 80 patients from Soha, Barak, Duidam and Turet were benefited.
During the camp, villagers were also informed about various health issues specifically in respect to the Covid-19 pandemic. DIPRO
