ITANAGAR, Jun 21:Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society has called on the state government to extend financial support to one Bini Tudum who was seriously injured by shrapnel when a bomb exploded during the Indian Air Force (IAF) bombing drill recently at Dollungmukh.

APWWS further called on the Pema Khandu government to take up with the IAF regarding the issue.
A retired SSB soldier, Tudum is currently admitted at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) in Naharlagun and the team visited to enquire about his health today. Relatives present informed the team that other than help from individuals, there has been no offer of help from the state or the IAF.
The family informed that IAF personnel had visited Tudum in hospital but they have not heard from them again.
