ITANAGAR, Jun 23: Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society (APWWS) has appealed to the Capital administration to ensure fixed opening and closing timings for shops in various sectors of the capital. The society said that many of the ghoomtis open till late and have become hubs for all kinds of gambling and drugs, therefore it is necessary that the timing is regulated.
The Society said that it received many representations from families regarding the issue prompting it to appeal to the district administration.
There has to be strict implementation of timing across the capital, the society said. Meanwhile, the society has warned about the dangers of Player Unknown Battlegrounds, popularly known as PUBG. It said that many people from school children to adults have become addicted to the game unable to carry out normal activities.
It asked the state administration to ban the game in the state. Newsdesk
