ITANAGAR, Oct 20: In a shocking incident, miscreants reportedly attacked and hurled stones at an Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services (APSTS) bus on its way from Itanagar to Shillong at around 10:30 pm on October 18.
The incident took place somewhere in the Borgaon village, Assam when unknown people in an Alto car started pelting stones.
The attack led to the front headlight of the bus being broken including mirror and few passengers suffered minor cut injuries from broken glasses. The incident triggered widespread panic among passengers.
When contacted SP, Tumme Amo informed this daily that no one has come to report about the incident yet.
However, he said that he is trying to contact his counterparts to get a clear picture of the incident.
"The concerned SP is on leave and hasn't responded to my phone calls yet, " Amo added.
