ITANAGAR, Feb 21: In the ongoing investigation related to alleged malpractices in the examination conducted by APSSB, the special investigation cell (SIC) has arrested three more persons in connection with the case.
The arrested persons include the then Under Secretary, APSSB Kapter Ringu, who was arrested from Abotani colony on February 20, two data entry operators - Khem Raj on February 19 and Tame Tania on February 21.
The duo has been arrested for allegedly entering into the strong room, tampering of OMR sheet and destruction of evidence.
"The total number of arrested persons, in this case, has now increased to five. All the arrested persons are in police custody and further investigation is under progress,” the SP, SIC, M Harsha Vardhan in an official communique said.
The SIC had on Monday arrested two persons, Senia Bagang and Mongam Basar in connection with the case.
