ITANAGAR, Mar 2: In the wake of the alleged malpractices, the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) today cancelled the recently held LDC, JSA etc examination held on February 2.
The decision was taken in a meeting where the board discussed in detail the matter pertaining to the said examination. Due to alleged malpractice in conduct of the said examination, a police case No. SIC(VIG) PS case No. 03/2020 was registered on February 16.
The board also decided that the new date for the examination would be notified soon. All the candidates who had received admit card for the examination held on February 2, would be eligible to re-appear for the examination without payment of any additional fees.
The board also resolved to ensure transparency and fairness in the conduct of future examination and expressed its commitment to ensure appointments purely based on merit. ES Newsdesk
