Itanagar, Nov 4: Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (APSLSA) today felicitated the best performing Para Legal Volunteer (PLV), Panel Lawyer and District Legal Services Authority for the year 2019.
Guwahati High court judge and designated Chairman High Court Legal Services Committee, S K Medhi while felicitating the achievers gave away the trophies and certificates. He said that the main objective is to reach out to the underprivileged sections  who cannot afford high legal expenses. He  lauded APSLSA for their initiative and appealed to continue more programmes, training and seminars for creating awareness on legal services to the people of the state. While congratulating the winners, he wished them all the best for the commendation ceremony at New Delhi to be held on November 9 next. APSLSA Member Secretary Budhi Habung gave a detailed presentation of APSLSA activities, performance report till 2019 and also a Power Point Presentation of the activities of various DLSAs of state. Deputy Secretary (Law & Judicial) Dani Belo, district judge cum chairperson DLSA Pasighat J Chai also spoke on the occasion. 
Upper Siang District Legal Services Authority was adjudged as best performing DLSA of state, Senya Lowang of Khonsa, Tirap have been adjudged as best panel lawyer while Agam Tadeng from Yingkiong, Upper Siang was adjudged as best Para Legal Volunteer (PLV) of state.
