ITANAGAR, Sep 25: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women-cum-Protection of Child Rights (APSCW-cum-APSCPCR), Itanagar today visited the two minor girls who were sexually abused at Naharlagun on Sunday.
The team led by Member Taba Rosy, Member Secretary Yame Higio and staff Tem Yabi had a detailed discussion with the victims and their family members.
Since, the victims belong to poor families, the team requested Tadu Tony, Para Legal Volunteer of AP State Legal Service Authority (APSLSA), to assist them with legal procedures required under Victim Compensation Scheme 2011.
Further, the APSCW-cum-APSCPCR team appreciated the Naharlagun Police and Women Police team for their prompt action and assistance.
