ITANAGAR, May 21: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW), Itanagar visited Superintendent of Police Capital, Tumme Amo at his office chamber and discussed in detail regarding the murder case of Late Alef Basumatary whose charred body was found in Kimin recently. The APSCW team led by Chairperson Radhilu Chai Techi, Member Likha Joya and Member Secretary Yame Higio also visited the Women Police Station, Itanagar today and spoke with the Officer-In-Charge and the alleged accused.
The Commission also expressed its deep sadness and anguish on the triple murder case in Daporijo. It urged the investigation team to expedite and early submission of charge sheet for both the murder cases, so that justice may be delivered to the victims and their families. Further, the Commission requested all walks of society to cooperate with the police for smooth investigation of the cases. APSCW release
