ITANAGAR, Jun 1:The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women has vehemently condemned the rape of a 3 and a half year old girl child at Changlang. The Commission requested the law enforcing agency to provide exemplary punishment to the alleged accused and expedite the investigation, so that justice is delivered to the victim and her family. The APSCW expressed its deep sadness and anguish on the occurrence of such incidents again and again involving minors. The Commission has requested the SP Changlang to investigate the case and file charge sheet as early as possible and submit the status report to the Commission office. Further, it is also urged to the government to provide compensation to the victim under victim compensation scheme.
