TEZU, Jan 25: As many as 289 candidates underwent Physical Standard Test (PST) for  different post of Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) held here yesterday at Indra Gandhi College ground under the active chairmanship of Recruitment Board Lohit district  SP DW Thungon. 
Out of 20  posts in Lohit district , 12 posts are for General Duty, 1  for Ex- Defence personnel, 2  for Bugle Band in IRBN and 5  for women respectively. During the PST, the candidates rigorously went through 1500 meters race for male, 800 meters for female, chin – up for male, height and chest measurement, long jump and high jump for both male and female. 
The recruitment was held under CCTV surveillance which was witnessed around the pockets of testing zone. “We have ensured complete transparency and impartiality throughout the test to recruit the deserving and genuine candidates. Selected candidates’ list will be sent to PHQ Itanagar and admit card for the written test will be sent soon,” informed the SP.
