ITANAGAR, Mar 2: Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council (APMC) conducted its 24th meeting here at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Health Services under the chairmanship of its President cum DME, T&R, Arunachal Pradesh Dr. RD Khrime on February 27 last.
The Executive Council of the body after a threadbare discussion agreed to review the guidelines for Award of Credit Points on various scientific activities keeping in mind the interests of modern medicine practitioners in the state. It was also unanimous decided to have an own Council Bhawan for hosting all Councils related to the Department of Health & FW under one roof and the Registrar cum Secretary, APMC was directed to take up the matter with other Councils and the state government.
APMC is a statutory body under the Arunachal Pradesh Medical Council Act, 2004 (Act. No. 4 of 2004) of GoAP that registers all modern medicine (Allopath) doctors and hear and decide appeals against professional misconducts of the practitioners. APMC PR
