Itanagar, May 30: The Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society (APLS) led by its President Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi will be celebrating the 79th birth anniversary of late Lummer Dai, the literary doyen of Arunachal Pradesh at J N State Museum here in capital on June 1 in a befitting manner.
Deputy Chief Minister Deputy Chowna Mein has consented to be the chief guest on the occasion and will be conferring the Luminous Lummer Dai Literary Award 2019 to Tagang Taki, one of the pioneers in literary field of the state. Poets reciting their self-composed poems in different languages promises to make the event a cultural potpourri besides poem recitation competition among students.
