ITANAGAR, May 18:   After BJP's 'largest-party theory' in Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh Congress committee (APCC) organized car rally from its State office, Rajiv Bhawan to Raj Bhawan and submitted a memorandum to Governor of Arunachal Pradesh.

Addressing media persons after submission of memorandum to Governor, Vice President APCC Minkir Lollen said that BJP is murdering democracy to fulfill their hunger for power and so we have submitted a memorandum to the President of India through Governor to save democracy in India.

He further added that  Opposition parties especially  the Congress are demanding the governors of four other states — Goa, Bihar, Meghalaya and Manipur  to invite them to stake claim to the government as they were the single-largest party in last assembly polls held in these states.

APCC strongly condemned what is going on in Karnataka and also the arbitrary decision of the Governor who murdered democracy, stated APCC Vice President.

In its memorandum, APCC also recalled the incident of 2016, and claimed that Governor of Arunachal Pradesh under the dictation of BJP had created political turmoil in Arunachal Pradesh and toppled the popularly elected Congress government.
