ITANAGAR, Apr 13:  Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has  lodged a series of complaints to the Election Commission of India regarding violation of Model Code of Conduct and demanded  re-polling in many polling stations of the state.
APCC, in its complaint letter alleged that   polling agents of INC in four polling stations namely Nyokuriang ,Taba, Nampe and Damin under 21  Koloriang  Assembly Constituency have been barred to sit during the poll process. It also claimed that BJP workers restricted the INC agents to function in Patin and Cheri polling stations of 19- Nyapin Assembly Constituency.
Further, state Congress  also alleged that at least 181 voters were impeded to exercise their franchises  when  stopped  by unidentified mob in 38-Rakso polling station under 18 Paling (ST) Assembly Constituency.
In a separate letter, APCC also lodged a complaint against sitting Chief Minister Pema Khandu for violating  MCC in Mukto Assembly Constituency  and demanded disqualification of his candidature.ES Newsdesk
