ITANAGAR, Jun 26: Arunachal Pradesh Police conducted plantation drive as a part of World Environment Day throughout the state.
As per the press statement from Police Headquarters, Itanagar more than 4500 saplings were planted today in various districts. The plantation was held at Police station, Battalion in Police colonies.
While encouraging the APP for planting more trees for Clean-Green Arunachal, Director General of Police, RP Upadhyaya stated ‘It’s time for nature where we have to contribute to the environment. We all are fighting with the deadly virus; it’s a prime concern to all of us that we should clean and green the environment.'
Meanwhile, tree plantation drive was also conducted under the banner of "Clean Green Arunachal" by district Police Namsai in collaboration with the Forest Department Namsai today.
