ITANAGAR, Dec 5: The All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) has condemned the November 25 Mechuka incident in which three youths, attending the annual Mechuka Adventure celebration, were brutally assaulted  by  miscreants.
In a representation to the Home Minister, it requested him to direct the concerned district administration to arrest all the culprits involved in the gruesome attack immediately and award exemplary punishment.
Also irked over the delay in nabbing the culprits despite the lapse of a week’s time, it also requested the Minister to hand over the case to an officer, not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police and case be registered under section 307 of IPC.
