Itanagar, Jun 25: The Combined Annual Training Camp of NCC which was being conducted during the last ten days here at RGGP, culminated today with a grand cultural programme displayed by the cadets.
The multi-talented cadets put up various cultural programmes of their respective states all carrying social messages. Commissioner to the Governor, Government of Arunachal Pradesh R P Upadhyay IPS, as chief guest appreciated the national spirit and discipline displayed by the cadets during the one and a half hour function and urged them to be disciplined and secular citizens of the country. He also advised the cadets to exercise utmost caution while downloading data from internet to avoid falling prey to negative/unwanted information and take part in community development programmes. The cadets can play a very active role in regulating traffic chaos by following the traffic rules and inspiring others to follow, he further opined. Camp Commandant Col R K Sharma appreciated the conduct and keenness of the cadets during the camp. Ten Navy cadets along with staff from Delhi who visited the camp had meaningful interaction with the cadets of Arunachal Pradesh and appreciated the training imparted in the camp.
The NCC cadets during the 10-day camp underwent various training activities which included firing, drill, physical training, self defense training and classrooms lectures. Disaster relief management and fire fighting demonstrations were also organized by experts on the field as a part of the training schedule. 1 APBN NCC PR
