ITANAGAR, Dec 6: Anini Police station under Dibang Valley district has come in at 5th position among the country’s top 10 police stations ranking list released by the Ministry of Home, Government of India during the ongoing DGP/IGP conference at Pune.
Anini Police Station located in the serene Dibang Valley District is a model police station in the state for its negligible pendency of cases, quick response to complaints, vigilant and preventive measures, stated a release from the Police Headquarters, Itanagar.
The Arunachal police fraternity has expressed its happiness in receiving this award.
DGP Arunachal Pradesh R P Upadhyaya conveyed his appreciation for his team and Dibang Valley District police in particular. He thanked the state government for its support in meeting the requirements of the police department.
