ITAANAGAR, Sep 23: The meetings of Alumni Association of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Daporijo was held at Itanagar on Sunday last.
During the meeting, Dosh Dasi, Chairman of the Alumni Association, briefed about the dilapidated condition of GHSS Daporijo. He also informed the gathering that there are only four classrooms against 1871 students.There are only six PGT and six TGT only in the school. Moreover, it also running without English, Biology, Physics ,Geography, Hindi teacher etc, he lamented.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Daporijo Er. Tania Soki also elaborated on his vision about the infrastructure development of the GHSS Daporijo. Soki informed that new auditorium with fourteen classroom project has been sanctioned. After rigorous discussion, alumni association took resolution to pursue with the government for all pressing requirements of the school.
