ITANAGAR, Nov 5: The 2nd edition of Arunachal Literature and Art Festival will be held from November 8-10, at IG park Itanagar. The festival is expected to bring together once again some of the greatest writers from Indian literary circles including intellectuals, musical performers and authors from across the state and country.
This was announced by the event’s creative head, Pinkey Veo in a press conference on Tuesday who also requested all to come and witness the state's biggest literary and arts meet.
The 3-day long festival will include Panel discussions, Art exhibitions, Bookfair, musical night, open interaction session with the prominent eriters and artists of the country.
Among other prominent writers present will be Padma Shree Mamang Dai, eminent journalist Teresa Rehman who will be also launching her book Bulletproof: Journalism in North East India.
A musical band, Bottle Rockets India will also perform during the event with its hit numbers, the organizers told. The three-day event is sponsored by the state department of tourism.
