HOLLONGI, Apr 18: The Airports Authority of India (NER) as a part of its Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER) programme distributed 7.2 MT of rice to the community heads which were further distributed to the daily wage earners, workers and similar groups of people near the vicinity of Hollongi airport.
Around 600 households in and around Hollongi airport area were covered, each receiving 12 kg of rice and the programme was intended to address their food shortages during the ongoing lockdown. MLA 14-Doimukh AC Tana Hali Tara and ADC Balijan Tasso Gambo were present on the occasion.
AAI has been consistently devoting its resources towards Corporate Social Responsibility endeavours at various stations in the Northeast under leadership of Regional Executive Director Sanjeev Jindal. DIPRO
