Aalo, Aug 23: Director of Sports Tadar Appa, Deputy Director & District Sports Officer Tumto Loyi carried an inspection of the on-going stadium coming up at Aalo General Ground to have an assessment of the construction status.
Work supervisors were directed to speed up construction work as it had been three years since the construction contract was awarded to the firm and is likely to take a few more years for full completion. West Siang district is facing a lot of problems as it is unable to organize big sporting activities and functions in this ground which has been the usual venue for long.
The Director and his team also visited the Sports Complex located at Kamdi near Darka village to take stock of the issues relating to land. DIPRO
