PASIGHAT, Jun 20: The much-awaited green signal for admission of girl students at Niglok Sainik School in Class VI from 2021-22 academic session onwards has been received from the Central government.
This was informed by the Principal Lt Colonel Rajesh Singh on Saturday. Principal Singh divulged that prior to admission, eagerness and willingness levels of the prospective girl students and their parents will be measured through a survey which is also intended to create a spur among the state’s girls to prepare for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination 2021-22 to be held tentatively on January 3, 2021. He also expressed hope that this would open avenues for the state’s girls to join the Indian Armed Forces via the National Defence Academy, assuring along with that the school will take all measures dedicatedly to mould them for the competition.
