PASIGHAT, Feb 9:Governor BD Mishra will be visiting Pasighat on February 14 next to participate in various departmental meeting and will inspect the state university site and airport at Pasighat in his two day stay at the centurion town.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak today held a series of meeting with the officers and leaders here to discuss the arrangements. He instructed the HoDs to prepare their development reports, progress of sponsored schemes including projects for presentation.
Present in the meeting, former Minister Bosiram Siram suggested the DC to invite all community including non-APSTs cultural troupes, residing at the centurion town to show our unity in diversity and our national integrity.
Later in second meeting, DC Tatak reviewed the preparation of the ensuing Statehood Day celebration while in the third meeting he held a detailed discussion on visit of “Inter Ministerial Central Team (IMCT)” scheduled on feb-13. He informed that IMCT consisting seven members from Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI, New Delhi is arriving for ‘on spot inspection’ of flood and landslide damage sites caused by heavy rainfall during the year 2017 in East Siang.
