Itanagar, Dec 19: Additional District Magistrate (ADM) cum Highway Administrator Talo Potom today inspected several critical locations of the four-lane road being constructed from C Sector to Papu Nallah near Dree ground to assess the exact quantum of progress of work undertaken by the assigned agency.
Potom along with Highway Executive Engineer Nani Tath, Authority Engineer VK Singh, technical and other officers took stock of the on-going work progress. This round of inspection follows the first one made by Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar a few days back. Potom said that it is necessary that officers and officials inspect the road on regular basis to boost the morale of workers and also to monitor the quality aspects of work.
He informed that Chief Secretary will make his second inspection on December 21 next with senior officers of all line departments including the stretch of road from Chandanagar to Papu Nallah.
He added that several hindrances on the RoW has been resolved or sorted out and hoped that TK Engineering Consortium Pvt. Ltd, the construction agency take up the work on war footing, also appealing all concerned not to create any hindrances in construction so that the four-lane Itanagar-Naharlagun road may come up within the scheduled deadline.
