ITANAGAR, Dec 7:  Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IMWA) president Yumlam Achung appealed to the student community to be role models and serve society and become partners in the state’s development.
Achung was addressing the 2nd annual sports meet of Himalayan University as chief guest in the university campus at Jullang today. Guest of honour, APYC Vice President and former IMC Councillor Kipa Takum also addressed the meeting.
Actor Giogi Tade who attended as special guest on the occasion spoke on the benefit of games and sports in life for a healthy body and sound mind.
University registrar Dr. Vivek Mittal, University students’ union general secretary and other personalities also addressed the gathering.
The three day sport meet will witness many activities.
