ITANAGAR, Feb 2: AkhilBharatiyaVidyarthiParishad(ABVP) has welcomed the substantial increase in the allocation of budget in education sector. The allotment in the education sector has been increased from Rs. 85,010 crores in 2018-19 to 93,848 crores in 2019-20.
In a press release issued by its central office Mumbai and forwarded by ABVP, Arunachal Pradesh ,it has praised the move by the government to initiate a National Programme on 'Artificial Intelligence' along with establishment of the National Centre on Artificial Intelligence as a hub and also Centres of Excellence to create new leadership in this path-breaking field of human endeavour.
Finance Minister has announced the setting up of the 22nd AIIMS in Haryana which the ABVP believes will help more students to get exposure to high standards of medical education. It has also appreciated the inclusion of “Quality Education” in the 10 dimensions of Vision 2030 envisaged by the government.
While welcoming the initiative of government of India, ABVP National General Secretary AshishChauhan said, "The valuable increment in the field of education was needed and will definitely yield good results. ABVP appreciates the government’s positive steps for the welfare of students and youths.”
