ITANAGAR, Feb 24:
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad on Saturday has extended full solidarity with the students of Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai over the scholarship issue being raised by students of the institute recently.
In a release, ABVP stated that all the students coming form from lesser privileged social and economic status deserves the right to higher education and access to academic scholarships on the constitutional principles of social justice and equity.
Appealing both the parties to solve the issue amicably and though constructive dialogue, the AVBP however condemned the act of TISS students for blocking the main entrance of the campus, which forced the authority to cancel the scheduled examination.
