3rd Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav connects with youth

ITANAGAR, Jan 27:A group of 10 delegates from Arunachal Pradesh recently participated in the Students Experience in Inter-state Living (SEIL) organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on the theme "Bharat Gaurav Yatra". SEIL is an annual cultural exchange program or exposure tour being hosted every year by AVBP for the North-Eastern students to experience the culture, food, and heritage of the various states that they visit.
Informing this, assistant professor DN college and AVBP state unit, President, Agin Taboh said that SEIL aims to integrate North East with rest of India and the idea of the tour was initiated in year 1960 which includes site seeing,awareness activities, interaction with renowned personalities of visiting place, etc. As per Taboh, the delegates which were divided into two groups visited various states like Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, etc and the tour came to an end at Guwahati on January 26. Meanwhile, few students also shared their experiences during their short stay in host families in different states. State secretary, ABVP, Akramso Ngadong and Central Working Committee (CWC) member,Tame Siayang also spoke and briefed about the activities of AVBP.
