KHONSA, Nov 4:   Khonsa West MLA Tirong Aboh and SP Tirap JK Meena graced the prize distribution function of 2nd Indigenous Games & Sports Meet organized under the aegis of AVP (Arunachal Vikas Parishad) Sports & Culture Centre, Tirap Unit here today.
Addressing the participants and gathering, Aboh urged the youths to shun all intoxicating substances and instead adopt physical exercise on daily basis and mentioned the impressive performance of players from the district.
Aboh asked the organizing committee to ensure enough publicity at least one week ahead to ensure mass participation in such important events and assured to contribute from his side for next year’s sports meet.
SP Meena informed that at least 17 police personnel including two Sub Inspectors were recruited from Tirap district under sports quota. 
The programme was attended by DFO Bitem Darang, DMO,  Dr. K. Mossang, President DAYA,  Jalin Hakhun, participants from 16 villages, members from Nocte Mothers Federation and organizing committee members from AVPand general public.
