Aalo, Apr 28: A film based on the myths of Abo Karo was released in Army Cinema Theatre here on April 27.
Titled ‘Abo Karo’, the film directed by Adham Munglang and produced by Lee Sora is an effort of A.S. Production Unit Aalo.
Former Minister Kento Ete while attending the releasing ceremony as chief guest, said that such folklore and mythology based films should be produced to infuse a sense among the young generation to delve into history and literature. Prevailing social taboos are detrimental for growth of a progressive society and films can do wonders to dispel darkness, he said.
Chairman IFCSAP, Mogi Ori and Chairman Mothers’ Vision, Jumde Yomgam also gave useful tips on role of cinema.
The production unit conveyed thanks to President GWS West Siang Kirba Sora, Advocate Kenbom Bagra, NEFTU, SFS College and others for cooperating in making the film. DIPRO
