ITANAGAR, Apr 27:The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) in its bid to bring back semblance in various higher educational institutes in the state today paid a visit to National Institute of Technology (NIT) temporary campus at Yupia and interacted with the administrators, faculty members and students representatives  of the institute. The main objective of the meet was to gather first-hand knowledge about various problems afflicting the institute.

The AAPSU delegation was headed by the union president Hawa Bagang and General Secretary Tobom Dai with other executive members.

While in the meeting, it was found that the institute has been facing many problems like absence of regular Director, dilapidated condition of road communication, delaying of construction of infrastructures at Jote and lack of basic facilities for the students.

During the discussion, the AAPSU assured to take-up the matters up to the Ministry of Human Resources (MHRD) level very soon while sending representatives of the AAPSU to New Delhi.

AAPSU team also asked the Director, station in-charge Professor MK Shove to furnish required information which will aid their cause while submitting representation to the MHRD.
