3rd Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav connects with youth
ITANAGAR, Oct 31: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) taking cognizance of the Stay order by the Itanagar Permanent Bench of the Gauhati High Court recently against the eviction drive on NH415, has termed it as anti development agenda.
Recently, the HC had stayed the impugned eviction order issued by Extra Assistant Commissioner –cum- Estate Officer, Itanagar vide memo No. EAC/ITA/EO/APPE-ACT-2003/2017-18 dated 12-1012013, against the eviction drive proposed to be carried out with effect from 23rd October against the standing structures falling within the RoW of the four-lane NH 415 from the stretches of Chandranagar to Papu Nallah-Jullang tri-junction vide order 22-10-2018 in WP(c)no 530 (AP)/2018 in respect of Taro Tagia & others vs State of Arunachal Pradesh & others.
Applauding the District Administration for the eviction drive, the Union said it is for a common good and should be allowed to carry out the work without any fear for the early completion of work.
AAPSU President Hawa Bagang stated that the Union has taken up the TAH issue starting from the Capital Complex so that the execution of work is done well in the common interest of the State. The AAPSU and the federating units DSUs shall strive against any individuals, groups etc. who are against the execution of the works, he said.
