ITANAGAR, Nov 14: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) convened a joint meeting with representatives of students and youth organisations including All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) and All Nyishi Youth Association at a city hotel today.
The meeting presided by President AAPSU, Hawa Bagang was convened to normalise the situation arising from allegations and counter allegations sparked out between RK Mission hospital authorities and Tatung Taga, the  Convenor of the union. The AAPSU release said it has witnessed numbers of condemnation coming in the press which is maligning the union’s image without knowing the truth. The house also condemned a cartoon published in a daily which it says depicted a dark picture of the students’ organisation and dragged the Nyishi community in the wrong light.
In the meeting, Taga, informed that when he rushed to the hospital with his child in critical condition, the hospital authorities denied admission giving lame excuses.  When the child's condition deteriorated then, he began to plead which turned into an argument, then only the authority arranged all possibilities for the patient.
The house adopted a resolution to appoint a Committee to look into the matter under the Chairmanship of Risso Kiagung, Editor, AAPSU.
