PASIGHAT, Jun 6: Soil erosion and falling of trees due to incessant rain for the last few days damaged two conductors of the 132 KV Aalo-Pasighat Transmission Line near Renging village on Saturday at about 6:45 am in the morning causing disruption of grid power supply to the districts of East Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Namsai, parts of Changlang, Lohit and Anjaw.
The restoration work involving jungle clearance, restringing of conductors with line accessories is expected to take 3-4 days as the Line transverses through thick jungles, tough terrain and the prevailing inclement weather is also causing delay in repairing.
Executive Engineer(E), Pasighat Transmission Division-III has appealed the consumers to bear with the inconvenience. Dept. of Power, Pasighat PR
