Itanagar, Feb 8: The dream of seeing the completion of the Greenfield Airport project at Hollongi is seeing fruition with the work being awarded.
As per the Airports Authority of India, the work has been awarded to one M/s Dinesh Chandra R Agrawal Infracon Pvt Ltd of Ahmedabad, Gujarat through a tender process.The work once awarded has to be completed within a period of 30 months. After physical completion of the work, the firm shall enter in supplementary agreements with AAI for operation and maintenance for a period of 7 years including 2 years DLP.
The tender for terminal building tender is also in the pipeline.
The foundation stone for the project was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 9, 2019 during a programme at IG park Itanagar. DIPRO
