ITANAGAR, May 26: The All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) citing that the model code of conduct has been lifted, urged for immediate process of official procedure for lifting the ban on government cheque transaction without further delay. 
In a press release, the association has urged the Chief Secretary and Secretary (Finance) not to test the patience of aggrieved genuine contractors who are facing financial problems because of suspension of government cheque transactions.
