ITANAGAR, Sep 3: The All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) urged all the tendering authorities to conduct NIT for all government schemes by strictly following government laid norms for a fair and transparent process.
It claimed that as per government gazette notification of The Arunachal Pradesh District Based Entrepreneurs and Professional Act 2015, there is no need to produce completion of similar nature of works during the tender time for class-V & IV.
However, it claimed that few departments made it mandatory for contractors to produce similar nature of works even for class-V& IV in the technical bid in Tender documents.
Moreover, the AACWA also appealed to Ministers and MLA’s not to interfere too much during the tender to ensure free and fair tendering process.
" Any kind of tender should be awarded to contractors as per merits of technical qualification and financial bid, " it appealed.
