TAWANG, Apr 6: Postal ballots for simultaneous elections 2019 were casted today for within the district voters who are requisitioned for election duty in various polling stations of the district. The postal ballot voters from all the three Assembly constituencies cast their vote at DC conference hall Tawang. The ballot boxes were checked and sealed in presence of the representatives of various political parties.
Voting started at 10.00am in the morning, since all the three constituencies and simultaneous voting for parliamentary elections were also conducted so there was a long queue of voters till late evening. Total votes casted for all the three constituencies till 6:30 pm this evening was 607. The general observer for Tawang Vijayendra Kumar and expenditure observer Dharmveer Singh Tandi, alongwith DEO Tawang Sang Phuntsok also visited the polling booth. DIPRO
