NAHARLAGUN, Apr 12:  In a tragic fire incident, at least 6 shops were gutted in a fire here today at Polo colony, Naharlagun. No casualties have been reported but properties worth lakhs have been lost in the inferno.
An information has been received about a fire incident that had broken out at Polo Colony Naharlagun, accordingly Fire station-Naharlagun was informed and team of Fire fighters led by Inspector  D Dulom rushed to the spot, informed SP, capital complex T Ammo.
He further added that, during  the visit at the incident site , team found that six shops were burnt down partially. However,due to timely action of fire brigades,  fire was controlled from  spreading further to adjacent  shops and buildings .
The cause of fire incident is suspected to be due to electrical short circuit, added SP. ES Newsdesk
