ITANAGAR, Apr 9: A four year old girl child Nending Evelynyn from capital’s Abotani Colony is winning hearts after she donated whatever she had saved to the state’s frontline police officials fighting to contain the dreaded coronavirus pandemic.
When asked by her parents for whom she wants her contribution to be used out of the three prospective recipients viz. volunteers working to feed stray animals, mask makers and police officials, little Evelyn gracefully replied that she wants it to be used for the police officers. The gesture has boosted the spirit of hundreds of police personnel selflessly rendering duties to keep the state safe.
“Heartfelt thanks to Nending Evelyn, the little Covid-19 warrior who contributed all her deposits to help fight the pandemic. Your kind gesture will surely boost the morale and spirit of the entire police department,” Capital SP Tumme Amo’s thanksgiving message read.
